Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of electrical systems in residential buildings, including wiring, lights, outlets, meters, panels, and devices
Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit using hand tools and power tools
Support the layout and installation of service entrance equipment and underground conduit for new construction homes
Troubleshoot basic electrical systems and circuits under supervision
Help maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a safe and orderly manner
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, PPE usage, and company and industry electrical codes
Qualification
Required
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check as required by company policy
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Basic understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and residential building practices
Solid communication skills and the ability to take direction
Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
Ability to read blueprints or diagrams (a plus but not required)
Preferred
1-2 years of experience in residential electrical work is preferred (technical school or formal training a plus)
