Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial records including but not limited to the general ledger, budgets, forecasts, and other ad hoc reporting
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
Assist with audits, ensuring adherence to standard GAAP requirements
Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
Report analysis and findings to management team
Act as a team lead and mentor to staff accountant
Qualification
Required
Must have a 4-year bachelor's degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited university or college
At least 4 years of experience in accounting for a mid to large company, or 2-4 years of experience in a public accounting firm
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools, including strong Excel
Detail and deadline-oriented
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
