Responsibilities

Design and build automation and robotic equipment
Own and implement solutions from project concept to installation
Perform machine concepting and proof-of-principle
Conduct electrical design/layout and software design/programming
Debug hardware and software
Perform acceptance testing and installation/integration at the factory
Work with rapidly changing technology

Required

Must live in Reno
Siemens PLC experience with TIA Portal required for PLC roles
FANUC robotics experience for robotics roles
Candidates are expected to present a recent project during interview
Some candidates will take a live troubleshooting technical test via Teams
Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal
1–2 years of experience with TIA Portal
PLC programming, HMI/SCADA design, and drive configuration
Knowledge of sensors, remote I/O, servos, VFDs, machine vision, and barcode readers
Experience with 6-axis robots, primarily FANUC
Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience

Preferred

iRVision is a plus
Familiarity with Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and EtherCAT
