Responsibilities
Oversee production lines to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
Drive compliance with OSHA regulations and corporate policies
Ensure all team members are trained and equipped to meet production requirements
Maintain clear communication across all levels and shifts of plant management
Monitor ingredient usage and labor figures for accurate costing and recall requirements
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to achieve production goals
Promote continuous improvement in safety, cost efficiency, and product quality
Share key metrics with supervisors to encourage performance improvement
Champion safety awareness and training initiatives across the workforce
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in production leadership within the food industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Working knowledge of production equipment, systems, and maintenance activities
Strong leadership skills with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence
Experience with Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma-Green Belt, TPM)
Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours
Preferred
B.S. degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Biology, Industrial Management, or related field is preferred
