CNC Programmer
Beacon Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision machining operations. The role involves collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently, while complying with customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines using G-code and/or CAM software
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies to maximize efficiency and quality
Support machine setup, prove-outs, and first-article runs
Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programs, materials, and machine performance
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve cycle times and reduce scrap
Ensure programs comply with quality standards, safety requirements, and internal procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in CNC programming for mills and/or lathes (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis preferred)
Strong knowledge of G-code, tooling, feeds & speeds, and machining best practices
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to commute to Newington, CT 06111 (Required)
Preferred
Technical degree or certification preferred
Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, NX, or similar)
Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus
