The CMM Programmer is responsible for performing inspections, supporting data analysis, and documenting results to maintain manufacturing process efficiency, while collaborating with various departments to ensure thorough inspections.

Responsibilities

Strives towards a culture of proactive safety
Create CMM programs with PC-DMIS software (From Solidworks models, drawings & applicable documents)
Create Absolute Arm programs
Document measurements required for First Article Inspections / AS9102
Updating & Managing Microsoft Excel databases
Mechanical, Visual & Final Inspections
Recommend new metrology based technologies towards improving our overall capabilities
Complete quality related and continuous improvement project work
Participate in investigations of root cause and corrective actions / implement preventative actions
Other duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)
Interpret Technical Drawing and Specifications towards Programming
Spacial Awareness of basic machining practices & CMM Setups
Understanding of Statistical Process Controls / AS9103
Ability to navigate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)

Preferred

Level 1, 2 and/or 3 PC-DMIS Certification
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
