Responsibilities
Serve as central facilitator between global sourcing and product development teams to drive supply chain development
In this project lead role, will partner with cross-functional engineering and technology category teams to mitigate risks, develop and procure materials, while driving component production readiness for new and next generation products
This is a technical Project Management role position and does not manage employees
May require to travel/telecommute
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
6 months experience in the job offered, Supplier Quality Engineer, R&D Intern, or related occupation
Experience must include: 1) material issues (NCEP, CAPA, SCIA), supply constraints and implementing corrective actions
Applying statistical quality control tools to supplier processes to ensure its capability as per capability indices
Identifying value improvement projects using engineering assessment of the process and design of the components or assemblies
