Technical Project Manager 3
COMPA Industries, Inc. is a company dedicated to supporting critical missions, partnering with Los Alamos National Laboratory for over 30 years. They are seeking a Technical Project Manager 3 to lead complex technical and operational projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to national security objectives.

Responsibilities
Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage discrete technical and operational projects from initiation through completion
Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets, risks, and performance metrics
Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to technical, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Develop, implement, and evaluate program policies, procedures, and standards in support of project objectives
Monitor project performance; identify variances and implement corrective actions as needed
Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
Prepare and deliver clear, accurate project status reports and performance communications to all levels of management
Conduct management assessments, causal analysis, tracking and trending of performance assurance data, and development of metrics
Support continuous improvement initiatives through lessons learned and process optimization
Provide technical guidance and professional judgment to staff and partnering organizations
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience managing technical or operational projects in a highly regulated environment
Thorough knowledge of project management principles, tools, and best practices
Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and performance reporting
Experience preparing executive-level reports and communicating complex information clearly
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while managing multiple priorities
Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, scientific, or related discipline and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge and capabilities
Preferred
Prior experience supporting DOE, NNSA, or National Laboratory programs
Experience supporting D&D, environmental restoration, or DOE Order 413.3B construction projects
Documented experience with performance assurance, trending, metrics development, and management assessments
Familiarity with DevonWay/Ideagen or similar issues management and assurance systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
