Responsibilities

Drive innovation by questioning assumptions, exploring emerging technologies, and pushing for better ways to solve tough UX challenges

Design with impact, creating human-centered experiences that simplify complexity without sacrificing power or precision

Collaborate deeply with engineers, product managers, domain experts, and fellow UX designers to bring bold ideas to life

Prototype and iterate to discover what works—leveraging research, testing, and storytelling to shape products from concept to launch

Help evolve the UX strategy and design language for a broad ecosystem of applications and services

Required

10+ years of experience as a user experience designer (UXD), user researcher, or similar

Experience designing enterprise software like IDEs, data pipelines, big data analytics tools, machine learning workflows, data catalogs and data management tools, low-code tools, or other tools that focus on data-hungry users

Proficiency with industry-standard software for designing and prototyping (We often use Figma)

Ability to think both creatively and analytically

Strong storytelling, verbal, and written communication skills

Team oriented and self-motivated

A continuous learning mindset

Preferred

Experience working with LLMs and designing human in the loop workflows

Familiarity with terminology from data science/data engineering OR healthcare-related domains

Familiarity with basic programming concepts and terminology related to front-end web development

Degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Psychology, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or a related field

A portfolio or samples of your work that illustrate your approach and results

Understanding of W3C and 508 accessibility guidelines
