Responsibilities

Define the Learning Strategy: Evolve and manage the instructional strategy, methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Design Thinking), and technology roadmap to meet current and future organizational learning needs
Serve as the primary consultant and strategic partner to senior Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), executive leadership, and departmental heads to conduct thorough Training Needs Analyses (TNA) and align learning initiatives with measurable business results
Establish and enforce quality assurance standards, instructional design principles, and accessibility (ADA/WCAG) compliance across all learning solutions
Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial needs analysis and scope definition through final delivery and iteration, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality
Manage and optimize the use of ID tools, platforms (LMS), and external vendor relationships
Provide guidance and support to subject matter experts and project stakeholders across the organization, fostering alignment, continuous improvement, and high-quality outcomes without direct people management responsibility
Design and champion a full spectrum of scalable learning modalities, including blended learning, microlearning, video-based instruction, and performance support tools, based on the principle of providing the right learning for the right audience
Develop and implement robust Learning Analytics and evaluation strategies (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model) to measure the effectiveness of training programs against defined KPIs, providing data-driven reports and recommendations for continuous improvement and hands-on assessment tasks
Drive hands-on project execution across learning and content initiatives, contributing directly through vision and kickoff, expert-level scripting, content development, video editing, and advanced interactivity design

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Educational Technology, or a closely related field
5+ years of progressive experience in instructional design, including significant experience managing the end-to-end design and development of corporate learning programs
Proven experience translating business needs/KPIs into measurable learning objectives and outcomes
Exceptional project management, organizational, and strategic planning skills (e.g., PMP or similar certification a plus)
Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across different departments
Expertise in applying contemporary learning theories (Cognitive Load Theory, Gagne's Events of Instruction, etc.) and models (ADDIE, SAM)
Expert-level proficiency with core e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360/Storyline, Articulate Rise, Lessonly, Captivate, (Absorb experience a plus) etc.)
Deep familiarity with LMS administration, SCORM/xAPI standards, and learning data extraction/reporting
Advanced multimedia skills, including video production, visual design, and experience with UX/UI principles applied to the learner experience

Preferred

Experience leveraging AI/machine learning tools for content curation, rapid prototyping, or personalized learning pathways
