Responsibilities
Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset
Stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships
Find ways to further efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologies
Provide proactive coverage of a multi-state/segment territory with primary coverage of the Northeast and Southeast Segments
Partner with colleagues within C&SI, primarily with Core, TDC/DCI, Food & Ag and MNC as a Discipline banker
Become the industry expert within Food industry across multiple subsectors including but not limited to: brands, suppliers, distribution and co-manufacturing owning relationships across the supply chain
Actively partner across lines of business including but not limited to: Investment Banking, Syndicated Finance, Asset Based Lending and Direct Lending
Qualification
Required
Five plus years' direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire (for 100+ bankers)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree and formal credit training preferred
Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive, and creative
