Confidential is hiring a Network Security Analyst I for an onsite opportunity in Austin, TX to support and strengthen an enterprise cybersecurity environment. The Network Security Analyst will be responsible for protecting information systems and computer networks from security threats, identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring network activity, investigating security incidents, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and review cybersecurity tools and controls to identify gaps and recommend improvements

Develop and implement risk reduction and security enhancement plans

Monitor network traffic, system logs, and investigate security breaches

Install, administer, patch, and troubleshoot security software and hardware

Work with firewalls, antivirus, and other security technologies

Design and prepare project plans, status reports, briefings, and presentations

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex security issues

Maintain, update, and ensure quality of technical and security documentation

Support basic project management activities and reporting
