Responsibilities
Assist with property accounting support related to property tax
Review and validate property tax returns for accuracy and completeness
Support the preparation and review of 500+ property tax filings between January and April
Perform extensive account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with tax records
Review and analyze property tax register schedules and compare them to filed property tax returns
Identify discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve issues timely
Ensure compliance with applicable property tax regulations and internal controls
Qualification
Required
Strong working knowledge of property tax accounting
Prior experience reviewing and supporting property tax returns
Proven experience handling high-volume reconciliations
Understanding of various property tax register schedules and how they tie to tax filings
High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines during peak filing season
