The After School Activity Coordinator will coordinate and facilitate a variety of academic and recreational activities, inspiring creativity and supporting students' homework and academic success.
Non-profit Organization Management
Responsibilities
Create a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment for students and families
Guide children through exciting lessons in sports, STEM, robotics, coding, culinary arts, and arts & crafts
Support homework completion and reinforce school day learning
Supervise children and ensure safe, organized classroom and activity spaces
Observe and evaluate student progress to help each child thrive
Maintain program materials, classrooms, and equipment
Participate in family nights, staff meetings, trainings, and special events
Serve as a positive role model and help ensure student safety at all times
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
At least 18 years old
CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse Prevention training will be provided and are required
Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities
Preferred
At least 6 months of experience working with school-age children preferred
Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus
