Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with people managers, project managers, engineers, scientists, and multidisciplinary teams to support projects in water, wastewater, drinking water, environmental engineering, design, sustainability, climate mitigation, and more
Assist in the preparation of technical deliverables including but not limited to calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, and memoranda
Potential to participate in field work and site visits to support project design, construction, and data collection activities
Perform data entry, analysis, and visualization to support engineering and scientific evaluations
Ensure quality and accuracy by adhering to Brown and Caldwell’s QA/QC processes and standards
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients to coordinate project tasks and deliverables
Support engineering services during construction by reviewing submittals, conducting inspections, and verifying conformance with plans and specifications
Manage and deliver assignments on time, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills
Complete an Internship Capstone project demonstrating skill development, learning, and accomplishments gained during the summer internship experience

Required

To qualify for an internship, you must be enrolled as a student seeking a degree in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or a related field
You must be enrolled for the 2025–2026 academic year and plan to continue in Fall 2026
You also must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
