Responsibilities

Assist with the operation of the pool
Oversees the work of assigned lifeguards and monitors compliance with facility policies
Assists with scheduling of employees
Responsible for assisting in the conduct of aquatic swimming and water survival training according to tC21-21
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Must possess the following certificates: American Red Cross 'Lifeguard' certification or nationally recognized equivalent (i.e. Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification)
American Red Cross 'Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer' (CPR-Pro) certification or nationally recognized equivalent (i.e. Ellis & Associates (CPR) Certification)
Resumes must be two pages (or less)
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
A one-year probationary period may be required
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
Continuous exposure to sun and prolonged periods of high temperature and humidity
Satisfactorily completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 which may also require to complete a Tier 1 background investigation with state checks for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities
Must have a current health assessment which documents good physical health, freedom from communicable disease IAW current Army
In case of exposure to infectious disease, incumbent is required to obtain the Hepatitis B vaccination series within a 24-hour period
Incumbent is required to follow environmental safeguards and wear personal protective equipment
Availability to work weekends, weekdays, holidays and night hours
Available to work the full Summer Season from May 30th to September 5th, 2026
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a medical examination
Applicant must be able to lift 40lbs
Applicants must obtain valid certificate by May 15, 2026
