Control Systems Engineer (I to IV)
Chelan County PUD is a public utility district seeking a Control Systems Engineer at various levels to support and advance their SCADA, EMS, and industrial control systems. The role involves designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining critical infrastructure systems that ensure safe operations and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, maintain, and support SCADA, EMS, and industrial control systems across District operations
Configure and integrate PLCs, RTUs, IEDs, HMIs, servers, networks, and supporting infrastructure
Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls and architectures in compliance with NERC CIP and other regulatory requirements
Provide technical troubleshooting, engineering analysis, and operational support for mission-critical systems
Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, test plans, and training materials
Participate in or lead projects, audits, and cross-functional initiatives, mentor engineers as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, IEDs, control systems theory, and automation principles
Industrial control system networking, protocols, and operating systems expertise
Cybersecurity principles and regulatory compliance for operational technology (OT) environments
Programming and scripting skills in object-oriented and/or scripting languages
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system troubleshooting abilities
Effective written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
A valid driver's license is required for this position (verified upon hire)
A valid Washington State driver's license is required within 30 days of employment
