Responsibilities

Strategic assessment of portfolio positioning, such as geographic, industry, tenant, and borrower exposures, to identify opportunities and risks

Real estate market research, analysis, and forecasting in support of investment decisions and portfolio strategy

Support of a wide range of functions specific to the insurance and event risk management of MIM’s commercial mortgage lending and equity managed account portfolios, contributing to increasing efficiencies, optimizing protection and minimizing costs

Support client and management portfolio reporting

Commercial mortgage credit risk assessment and ratings

Support internal and external valuation and appraisal review oversight processes

Special projects assigned by MIM Real Estate’s leadership team

Required

0-2 years relevant experience in commercial real estate

Candidate should have advanced analytical abilities and excellent written/verbal communication skills

Preferred

Familiarity with programming languages (Python, R, VBA, etc.) a plus

Knowledge of real estate and/or finance analytics platforms (Argus, CoStar, Bloomberg, etc.) a plus

BA/BS in finance, economics, accounting, real estate, computer science, or related disciplines preferred
