They are seeking a Laser Operator to produce laser cuts for fabrication processes by setting up, programming, and operating CNC laser cutting machines while ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
Operating single or multiple CNC laser cutting machines, including loading raw material and ensuring quality by maintaining focal point adjustment, feed rate, power, and other parameters
Ensures machine optics are maintained by performing tests and procedures, including tape shots, lens focusing, lens cleaning, nozzle cleaning, and replacement of any worn items
Labels finished parts accurately and delivers them to designated areas
Monitors laser operations to ensure machine is functioning properly and safely; records machine code errors and communicates performance issues to the supervisor
Uses inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
De-burrs and cleans parts
Maintains quality, productivity, and safety records
Maintains supplies and performs regular preventive maintenance
Assists other operators with operating, inspecting, and cleaning machines and parts
Maintains cleanliness of work area
Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Must be able to read exact measurements on a tape measure without assistance
Must be able to read blueprints and schematics
2 Years Of CNC Operating Experience Required
Knowledge of CNC laser operations required
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 2 years of CNC operating experience
Knowledge of CNC laser-cutting operations
Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good time management skills
Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
Team-oriented and collaborative
LOTO certification required
Crane operation certification required
Forklift operation certification required
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
