Responsibilities

Serve as the critical communication link between the Roastery manager and the frontline brewery team, translating high-level strategy into actionable floor tasks

Produce cold brew to Rook’s highest standards

Master and oversee all brewery operations, including cold brew production, machinery maintenance, and sanitation of mash tuns, kegging systems, and packaging equipment

Ability to track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as production yield, labor efficiency, and waste reduction

Maintain high standards for food and workplace safety

Direct roasted coffee workflows—from receiving and forklift movement to weighing, proportioning, and maintaining production records

Actively develop a 'culture of excellence' by providing constructive feedback and collaborating with the Roastery Manager to mentor staff

Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and retention of top talent
