Responsibilities
Adding Matters and Timekeepers to Billing systems
Reporting Weekly and Quarterly Hours, Monthly Bonuses, and Monthly Additions/Deductions to management
Sending Monthly Paper, Email and Fax of Invoices and Reminder Statements
Follow up on Aging reports
Assisting with appeals by pulling supporting documents such as status reports or emails for the Billers’ appeals
Entering Billing, Updating New Rates, and Make Monthly Corrections to Invoices
Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by Billing Manager or Accounting
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2+ years of e-billing experience in a law firm required
Experience with Legal-X (Bottomline), Quovant, Ascent, Tymetrix, and CounselLink
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, office equipment, and billing software
Strong computer skills including Microsoft programs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while working on a computer
Sufficient dexterity to operate a keyboard and other office equipment
Ability to observe details, read printed materials, and view computer screens
Ability to communicate verbally in person and over the phone
Ability to move within an office environment and operate office equipment
Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 15 pounds as needed
