Jr. Mechanical Engineer
Largeton Group is seeking a Jr. Mechanical Engineer to participate in the design, development, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes. The role involves collaborating with other engineering disciplines and applying standard mechanical engineering techniques to contribute to the team.

Responsibilities
Participates in the design, development, modification and evaluation of mechanical components and processes used utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs)
Compiles, adjusts, and correlates data that will develop professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard mechanical engineering techniques, procedures and criteria utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs)
Provides input to and/or maintains technical logs and records
Coordinates work and collaborates with other engineering disciplines
Provides direct support to other engineering disciplines for mechanical related matters
Coordinates development and presentation of material when requested
Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals
Evaluates, selects, and applies standard mechanical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications
Provides technical assistance to other mechanical personnel and will interact with project functions, the customer, and regulatory agency personnel in the resolution of complex regulatory issues and industry codes and standards
Provides assistance to project and construction management in identifying and complying with project mechanical requirements and in addressing issues as they arise during project execution
Qualification
Required
Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering with 1-2 years of experience
Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience
Passed Engineering in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering Examination in USA (Mechanical or related Engineering)
Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as AS9100
Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance
Basic knowledge of developing CSI Master format specifications, or Unified Facilities Guide Specifications using Specs Intact
Basic knowledge of mechanical system design, including sizing and equipment selection, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and requirements verification
