Responsibilities
Responsible for providing maintenance services through the facility
Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
Perform routine corrective maintenance services, including mechanical repairs, rigging, metal fabrication, welding, cutting, drilling, milling, light electrical troubleshooting and installation, craft work
Perform preventative maintenance services, including cleaning and lubrication on mechanical equipment, time-based maintenance, and inspections
Collaborate with team members, such as prioritizing critical repairs
Provide training for apprentice mechanics and rovers
Will be assigned to one of the maintenance groups, which includes warehouse maintenance, packaging maintenance, garage, belt shop
Qualification
Required
Ability to work overtime, rotating shifts and weekends on a regular basis
Have a high regard and ownership for personal safety and the safety of others
Ability to perform tasks wearing required PPE such as protective clothing, safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed boots, etc
Ability to work as part of a team in a unionized environment
At least 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance
