Responsibilities
Define and execute the roadmap for getting data into Altana
Own the suite of ingestion methods: high-volume REST APIs for tech-forward clients, native connectors for major ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), and simple, robust flat-file importers for smaller suppliers
Identify the most critical systems our customers use and lead the development of "One-Click" integrations that remove the need for custom engineering work
Architect pipelines that support continuous data synchronization, ensuring the customer’s view of their supply chain is always current
Build intuitive, low-code tools that allow non-technical users to map their internal data fields (e.g., "Vendor_ID") to Altana’s canonical schema
Make the onboarding process "wizard-driven" rather than service-driven
Work with our AI teams to productize our matching logic
Create a transparent feedback loop
Design an experience that works for the "long tail."
Ensure that our ingestion infrastructure meets the highest standards of security
Define how we handle encryption, data residency, and access controls during the ingestion process
Qualification
Required
7+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with a deep understanding of integration between data platforms
Experience with high-volume REST APIs for tech-forward clients
Experience with native connectors for major ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
Experience with flat-file importers for smaller suppliers
Ability to define and execute the roadmap for getting data into Altana
Experience in building intuitive, low-code tools for data mapping
Experience in working with AI teams to productize matching logic
Ability to create a transparent feedback loop for data quality
Experience in designing experiences that work for both small suppliers and large enterprises
Knowledge of security standards for data ingestion, including encryption, data residency, and access controls
Understanding of APIs, EDI, ETL/ELT, JSON
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Problem-solving skills related to real-world data challenges
Ability to define system interfaces of the solution alongside engineering
