The MI Systems Trainer/Maintainer is responsible for maintaining and administering digital intelligence systems and providing training to operators on leveraging these systems effectively.

Responsibilities

Maintain and administer digital intelligence systems to include configuration and modification; adding, removing, and replacing hardware and software items; system startup, shut down, backup and restore; database administration and maintenance; and system user access control

Performs field and sustainment level maintenance to systems in a fixed facility and when employed tactically

Provides basic instruction for Military Intelligence (MI) Systems standard and non-standard hardware and software installation, configuration, physical emplacement and setup, integration into a communications and data architecture plan, troubleshooting and maintenance techniques

Train operators how to leverage the intelligence systems and identifies their maintenance roles in accordance with Technical Manuals and User Guides

Identifies and reports the status of equipment to be used in Army Sustainment systems like GCSS-Army, or equivalent system, for hardware and software maintenance readiness reporting

Travel: Prepared to support subordinate units in North Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma as needed (up to twice a year per subordinate)
