Experienced PCA CCA Sales Agronomist

GPAC is a reputable family-owned Agronomy company looking to add an Experienced PCA CCA Retail Sales Agronomist to their team. The role involves making recommendations to growers, building customer relationships, and managing sales presentations to ensure successful transactions.

Responsibilities

Make fertilizer, chemical and seed recommendations to growers and farmers
Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities
Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long term repeat business
Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
Forecast supply requirements buy month and annual basis
Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology, including seed, precision farming technology, finance and marketing tools

Required

3+ years of agronomy related experience with a current book of business or strong established farmer/grower relationships
Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
Must be PCA licensed and CCA Certified
Must currently reside in the region and have a valid driver's license

Preferred

A degree in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred or equivalent experience
