Responsibilities

Produce investment analysis on a large number and wide variety of current portfolio investments
Lead manager relationships including meeting preparation, manager interviewing, meeting documentation and follow up analysis
Participate in new manager sourcing including prioritizing managers based on investment skill, relevance to the portfolio and quality of their underlying opportunity set
Conduct data analysis associated with quarterly Investment Committee meetings and participate in preparation of meeting materials
Interacts regularly and constructively with NMHC’s banks, custodians and service providers to identify and resolve emerging issues
Assist with special projects as assigned by the Chief Investment Executive. Special projects may entail conducting research and analysis on a wide variety of investment topics
The ideal candidate must have investment experience and should have the ability to develop independent views on individual investments. The ability to think critically and analyze complex situations is absolutely necessary
Qualities like humility, respect and open mindedness to information that differs from their views is vital

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics
2-5 years relevant experience
Strong understanding of finance, statistics and economics
Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
Morningstar Direct and Bloomberg experience

Preferred

Progress towards the CFA designation or MBA
Company valuation and modeling experience
