Senior Supplier Quality Manager

The Senior Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for managing quality systems and processes at Raytheon’s third party logistic partner, ensuring compliance and driving corrective actions.

Responsibilities
Issue, track, and approve Supplier Corrective Action Reports
Daily interaction with other cross- business teams in Raytheon to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include technical support, manufacturing/test/design engineering, supply chain, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office
Ensures the full compliance of company policies, procedures, and the GXO SSOW
Assist in workforce planning and forecasting
Assist in development and execution of training documentation
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using CORE
Disposition of non-conforming material, purges, and material in quality hold
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience
Previous experience with dispositioning on non-conforming material
Experience with supplier statement of work compliance
Experience identifying root cause and initiate/implementing effective short-term and long-term corrective actions
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance after the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating
Experience in the aerospace/defense industry
Experience in leveraging 3rd party contractor support to supplement business needs
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems
Knowledge of Supplier Quality Engineering
Certification in Six Sigma, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ)
