Responsibilities
Plan and execute sprint ceremonies, including release planning, sprint planning and estimating, daily standups, release demos, and retrospectives
Work with the Level 2 support team to manage defect triage, prioritize issues, and ensure resolution timelines
Promote collaboration between product owners, developers, and external stakeholders
Identify, document, and manage risks and issues impacting sprint delivery
Ensure cross-functional dependencies are aligned to avoid bottlenecks and delays
Act as a mentor to the team and coach them on Agile principles and best practices
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization within the team
Monitor sprint metrics and team performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
Provide clear and timely reports to stakeholders regarding sprint health, risks, and delivery progress
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in a related field required
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role
Intermediate to Advanced expertise in Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is required
Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and SmartSheets
Expertise in Agile methodologies
Strong skills in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred
Masters Degree is preferred
Knowledge of the shop floor automation industry is preferred
Proven experience in risk management, issue tracking, and conflict resolution within Agile teams
