Responsibilities

Pick customer orders accurately according to pick lists instructions

Verify correct part numbers, quantities, and packaging requirements before staging orders

Ensure container contents are examined and verified accurately with records, such as manifests, invoices, and orders

Ensure accuracy of work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders for routing of goods

Ensure shipment data is documented, weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies

Ensure packaging, labeling/freight is executed according to established SOPs & quality standards

Ship all orders ON TIME, maintaining a 98% DIFOT average and document

Operate Parts Kanban System for finished goods

Provide input on carriers’ performance as needed

Uphold company image and implement company SOPs for packing/labeling/shipping of product

Maintain departmental equipment

Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain established min max levels

Participate in Lean activities as requested

Attend all departmental meetings

Meet goals set for the department

Complete all assigned documentation and turn it in by established deadlines

Perform other duties as assigned
