Employee Benefits & Payroll Support Analyst

They are seeking a Senior Analyst to manage HR functions related to employee benefits, payroll support, and absence management programs, while overseeing and mentoring other analysts.

Responsibilities
Oversee and mentor Human Capital Management Analysts and Associate, ensuring consistency and accuracy in processes across the agency
Manage a variety of HR functions, including reviewing and processing personnel actions in the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS)
Verify payroll reports and audits resolving issues using UKG Pro and OAKS
Process employee leave including disability, adoption childbirth and leave of absences
Coordinate benefit enrollments, run daily benefit reports, verify eligibility, assist employees with benefit-related questions to ensure timely and accurate updates for qualifying life events
Analyze data trends and prepare reports to provide insights that support decision-making
Qualification
Required
3 years' experience in human resources
Completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration and 12 months' experience in human resources
1 year experience as Human Capital Management Analyst, 64612
Equivalent of education and/or experience per Minimum Class Qualifications noted above
Strong knowledge of HR laws and policies, including civil service regulations and agency procedures
Experience with business processes and quality assurance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HR systems
Ability to define problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
