Responsibilities
Leading the lab and the engineering teams
Defining electrical architectures for integrated systems, considering power distribution, signal integrity, grounding, and EMC/EMI. Evaluating and recommending electrical components, technologies, and vendors
Overseeing the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components for integration
Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Electrical Engineers specializing in system integration. Assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and conducting performance reviews
Identifying training needs and providing opportunities for professional development
Providing technical guidance on electrical design best practices, including component selection, circuit analysis, and simulation
Monitoring project progress, tracking milestones, and providing status updates to stake-holders
Developing and oversee electrical testing and validation plans for integrated systems
Ensuring that systems meet performance specifications and regulatory requirements
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
Developing a collaborative and innovative team environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Five years of experience in electrical engineering
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Preferred
2+ years of lead or management experience
Desire to be a visible project leader and decision maker
