Responsibilities

Providing strategic leadership in developing and implementing a comprehensive grants program that advances the mission of the healthcare foundation
Researching, preparing, and submitting proposals to foundation, corporate, individual, and governmental sources
Maintaining compliance with all grantor and regulatory requirements
Overseeing the grant management system to ensure timely audits, contracts, and reports
Collaborating with finance, program, and clinical teams to align budgets and demonstrate measurable outcomes
Cultivating strong relationships with donors, prospects, and funding partners
Providing leadership and mentorship to grants staff
Representing the foundation externally
Contributing to overall fundraising strategy and revenue forecasting
Identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors to raise philanthropic funds on behalf of Lee Health
Building relationships with major donors
Collaborating with the special events team to identify attendees with large capacity to support the foundation
Managing a portfolio of 150-175 prospects and donors
Preparing and executing solicitation/stewardship strategy plans
Serving as a liaison to a system priority area, facility, or geographic region as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 5 years of successful grant experience
Minimum of 3 years of fundraising
