Responsibilities

Serve as the 319th Combat Training Squadron's Contracting Officer Representative and government administrator for a $70-million service training and operations support contract
Participate in pre-award activities, such as requirements definition, acquisition planning, and contract formation processes, and assist with contract closeout
Verify that the contractor performs the technical requirements of the contract in accordance with its terms, conditions, and specifications

Required

U.S. Citizenship Required
Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed 'Unscheduled Telework'
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI access
Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing
May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis
Employee must within 30-days of assuming this position and annually thereafter, file an OGE-450, 'Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.' Employee is required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training
Must complete DoD COR type A training and refresher training before contract award IAW DoDI 5000.72
Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year
Employee may be required to perform travel by military or commercial passenger aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments

Preferred

A bachelor's degree in any field is preferred but not required
Relevant technical experience, knowledge or practical experience in technical, professional, or administrative fields that is commensurate with the responsibilities designated under the contract (Space Operations and Training) is highly preferred
