Responsibilities
Delivering features that accomplish business goals and are well liked by users
Defining the roadmap for your problem space and getting alignment both internally and externally through stakeholder management
Interviewing customers or prospects to identify underserved needs, opportunities to improve the product, and to validate feature ideas
Performing market and competitor research to identify opportunities and risks
Collaborating with the design and engineering teams to develop product requirements, including writing all user stories and product requirement docs (PRDs), and progressing features from idea to fully shipped
Analyzing product usage data and identifying and sharing usage trends and opportunities
Analyzing qualitative customer feedback (support tickets, feature requests, etc.) to identify trends and opportunities
Working with teams outside product management to ensure product positioning, messaging, and product launches are smooth
Serving as the subject matter expert for your product, target customer, and problem space
Attending recurring product development meetings to stay current on progress and unblock designers and engineers
Developing and reporting on a list of metrics that can be used to measure product health and usage
Stepping in to improve processes around research, development, or product delivery
Creating presentations for internal and external audiences
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience as a product manager
Proven track record of launching & supporting customer facing features or products
Ability to identify problems and create impactful solutions
Experience with MDM systems or an IT background
Ability to present to large groups
