NDT Technician / Special Inspector

They are seeking an NDT Technician / Special Inspector to be the primary technician for various clients in the Seattle area, performing inspections and ensuring quality in infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
Perform testing in accordance with approved procedures following applicable codes and standards
Knowledge of industry health and safety procedures. Commitment to working safely at all times
Prepare accurate daily reports including description of work done, conclusions
Professionally interface with customers to address issues and solve problems
Comfortable working outdoors in a construction site environment, including at heights and in inclement weather
Some local travel may be required
Lifting/carrying by weight (50 pounds) frequently may be required
Mobility such as reaching, kneeling/crawling, bending/crouching, and frequency/duration in which action is required
Endurance such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing, or driving, and frequency/duration in which action is required
Qualification
Required
UT level 2 and MT level 2, or eligible per ASNT SNT-TC-1A
Committed to earn one or more ICC/WABO certifications within 4 months of hire
Valid driver's license
Preferred
AWS CWI highly desired
Other experience/certifications in reinforced concrete, structural welding and bolting, other Special Inspection categories
