They are seeking an IAM System Engineer to provide support for the Ping-based SSO authentication platform, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams to ensure seamless workforce authentication.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support for the Ping-based SSO authentication platform

Partner with IAM and authentication teams to remediate identified gaps

Support internal workforce customers via Slack and other support channels

Troubleshoot SSO issues

Assist with onboarding new applications to SSO

Resolve SAML attribute and configuration issues

Perform engineering work including platform upgrades, stack refreshes, and security and compliance-driven redeployments

Execute frequent deployments of the SSO platform

Collaborate with application teams to ensure seamless workforce authentication

Participate in IAM initiatives beyond the core authentication team as needed

Required

Strong hands-on expertise with PingFederate (SME-level preferred)

Deep knowledge of IAM protocols: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect

Experience with policy management, adapter configuration and development, selector and access token management

Proven ability to troubleshoot SSO and authentication issues

Experience supporting workforce authentication platforms

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub

Experience deploying and redeploying authentication platforms in response to vulnerabilities, compliance, and security requirements
