Human Resources Generalist

All City Management Services is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for various HR-related tasks, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance, while maintaining and enhancing the company’s human resources policies and practices.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple jurisdictions by maintaining and updating HR policies, employee handbooks, and company forms
Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and leadership, resolving employee concerns related to attendance, performance, and conduct
Support performance evaluations, corrective actions, and improvement efforts while guiding supervisors/managers on documentation, progressive discipline, and compliance-focused decision-making
Provide guidance and support related to employee leaves of absence, accommodations, and compensation questions, ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws and internal ACMS procedures
Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and related employee resources
Maintain accurate HR records and systems, generate reports, and analyze HR data to support compliance, audits, and operational decision-making
Contribute to HR initiatives such as process improvements, training development, policy rollouts, and culture-building efforts

Required

Prior experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
Strong knowledge of HR functions, labor laws, and best practices
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in HR, and/or PHR certification
Bilingual in Spanish
