The intern will be involved in various responsibilities including safety inspections, assisting with project management tasks, and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

Conducts basic safety inspections and training, identifies hazards and corrections, and leads by example for health and safety practices and procedures

Assists with third-party inspections and site reviews

Assists superintendent with workforce planning

Assists in tracking time, materials, and equipment

Prepares quantity takeoffs as directed for production analysis, material orders, etc

Assists in monitoring quality plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) (BLDG and CIVIL)

Assists project engineers/coordinators with trade contractor management, including requests for information (RFIs), shop drawings, changes, and billings

Assists with materials and equipment inventory

Assists with schedules (three-week lookaheads)

Assists with change management

Assists with documentation of performance (production, progress) commodity curves—collection, weekly productivities

Assists with updating drawings and specifications

Liaises with trade contractors, consultants, designers, engineers

Develop and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders

Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture

Other duties as required
