Co-Op, Production Engineer, Fall 2026 (July - December)
Alloy Enterprises is seeking a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Co-op for the Fall 2026 term. This role offers an opportunity to engage with various aspects of the business, including design and manufacturing, while contributing to cutting-edge thermal management technologies.

Responsibilities
Design CAD models for cutting edge thermal management applications that highlight Alloy’s unique capabilities
Run proprietary software programs to evaluate and qualify parts
Use Alloy’s hardware to produce test parts and samples
Analyze data to effectively communicate the unique values inherent in Alloy’s manufacturing process
Collaborate with Engineering to test new geometries and process improvements
Perform testing on final parts and support the refinement of the test method
Generate content for customer-facing application notes such as renderings or data summarization
Qualification
Required
Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Co-op with a strong interest in cutting edge thermal management and novel manufacturing technologies
Strong communication, flexibility, and the desire to 'wear many hats'
Design CAD models for cutting edge thermal management applications that highlight Alloy's unique capabilities
Run proprietary software programs to evaluate and qualify parts
Use Alloy's hardware to produce test parts and samples
Analyze data to effectively communicate the unique values inherent in Alloy's manufacturing process
Collaborate with Engineering to test new geometries and process improvements
Perform testing on final parts and support the refinement of the test method
Generate content for customer-facing application notes such as renderings or data summarization
This position will require access to information subject to control under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations ('EAR') and International Traffic in Arms Regulations ('ITAR')

Preferred
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
You take ownership of your projects - complete tasks efficiently and effectively
Past industry co-ops or internships strongly desired
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
Experience with OnShape or SOLIDWORKS modeling and drawings, including GD&T
Experience with traditional manufacturing techniques, such as CNC and manual machining
Completed relevant coursework or has experience writing in Python
