Responsibilities

Primary point of contact for plant personnel for questions or problems with the CO2 process
Respond to inquiries and issues as they arise, including normal business hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
Regular plant visits to ensure expectations are being met and assist with any problems that arise
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Recognize plant needs and engage leadership to resolve shortcomings
Facilitate localized ownership and empowerment with on-site subject matter experts
Create scorecards to track key performance indicators and develop/implement strategies for improvement, identifying system leaders and gaps
Plan and facilitate major repair and rebuild strategies of operating equipment
Maximize plant uptime through training, planning, teamwork, and innovation
Develop and provide technical presentations to management and plant team members
Foster a culture of safe behavior and environmental compliance at all times
Maintain a team environment at all times and champion POET in the community

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or similar engineering degree
1+ years of experience as an engineer in an operations, manufacturing, processing, or related field required
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to embrace change
You communicate effectively in writing and in person
You know the basics of Microsoft Office Suite. You're capable of learning new programs
High level of personal integrity
Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Sense of urgency and ownership that drives results
Interpersonal skills – ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within/outside the organization
