ECU WHITE BOX & STRESS TEST ENGINEER

Responsibilities

Perform white box testing on automotive ECUs, including HPC and Zonal Computers
Debug embedded code and conduct register-level diagnostics for SOCs/MCUs
Design and troubleshoot HIL systems using platforms like dSPACE and ETAS
Develop and validate wiring harnesses and load boxes for HIL setups
Utilize tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers for hardware testing
Execute stress tests and analyze data to establish pass/fail criteria
Work with automotive network protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and diagnostic tools (CANoe, VT Studio)
Validate wireless communication technologies (NFC, UWB, Wi-Fi) used in automotive systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive EE hardware white box testing
Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and systems
Ability to read and interpret circuit board schematics and semiconductor datasheets
Proficiency in embedded code debugging and register-level diagnostics
Hands-on experience with HIL systems (dSPACE, ETAS) and related electrical design
Expertise in automotive communication protocols and diagnostic tools
Familiarity with wireless technologies used in automotive applications
Experience in statistical analysis for stress testing and reliability validation
