Perform manual and routine tasks in support of research
Receiving professional training in molecular and biochemical techniques
Developing technical and presentation skills
Work in the greenhouse and/or laboratory
Insect population or cell line maintaining
Molecular biology and biochemistry experiments
Collecting and entering data
Eventual tedious activities but necessary to keep the project running
Report to the Principal Investigator or their direct mentor
Development of their own research projects is a possibility depending on their interest and performance
