Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the data center, including system performance monitoring and issue resolution
Manage hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance activities
Assist in capacity planning and vendor coordination to ensure resource availability
Ensure compliance with SLAs, security standards, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to process documentation, asset tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide leadership and guidance to technical staff, fostering a culture of operational excellence
Working knowledge of server and network components
Ability to perform routine diagnostics and escalate issues appropriately
Foundational skills in documentation, asset tracking, and SLA monitoring
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED and 5+ years of related experience
OR Associate's or Bachelor's degree (may substitute for experience), OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
Deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure
Strong leadership capabilities
Ability to manage complex systems and teams in a dynamic environment
Working knowledge of server and network components
Ability to perform routine diagnostics and escalate issues appropriately
Foundational skills in documentation, asset tracking, and SLA monitoring
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
