Mid LevelCystems Logic is seeking a Business Systems Analyst specializing in Actuarial IT. The role involves eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for Agile scrum teams while collaborating with various business units to enhance the Actuarial Data Center and support modernization efforts using AWS.

Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze and document business and technical requirements for Agile scrum teams and project initiatives
Collaborate across business units to understand requirements for the Actuarial Data Center
Document business needs, gather necessary data and retire outdated processes
Perform analysis and coding in SAS, SQL, R and/or Python
Contribute to modernization efforts using AWS
Assist in user acceptance testing, identify and remediate bugs and implement improvements
Support production processes and maintain communication with Actuarial business units
Facilitate business requirement sessions with stakeholders across the organization, developing comprehensive documentation that aligns with business needs
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, working in tandem with IT resources to develop technical solutions
Collaborate with delivery team resources within the agile framework to create and refine user stories (JIRA), coordinating user acceptance testing to ensure quality standards are met
Provide support for incident and defect management for BAU and/or project deliveries
Serve as backup for other BSAs during projects, refinement sessions and Production Support activities
Implement best practices to ensure consistency in standards and execution
Qualification
Required
Experience in eliciting, analyzing and documenting business and technical requirements for Agile scrum teams and project initiatives
Ability to collaborate across business units to understand requirements for the Actuarial Data Center
Experience in documenting business needs, gathering necessary data and retiring outdated processes
Proficiency in analysis and coding in SAS, SQL, R and/or Python
Experience contributing to modernization efforts using AWS
Ability to assist in user acceptance testing, identify and remediate bugs and implement improvements
Experience supporting production processes and maintaining communication with Actuarial business units
Ability to facilitate business requirement sessions with stakeholders across the organization
Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications
