The Adult Residential Services Program Manager is responsible for leading Direct Support Professional staff and overseeing daily service delivery for individuals in supported residential group homes, ensuring quality care and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing leadership of Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff and all daily service delivery activities for the people living at the assigned 24/7 supported residential group homes
Responsible for supporting the broader program vision, standardization of systems, quality service and supporting the overall program compliance and maintaining a high level of service quality across all homes
Responsible for the provision of appropriate care for persons with Intellectual/developmental disabilities, to guide and assist them in their development and activities within the home and community life
Assure DSP staff receives the support they need to perform their highest and best work, maintain compliance, maintain customer and parent/guardian satisfaction, and operate the home or program according to the annual operations budget
Responsible for the successful licensing and maintaining license of the home
Responsible to ensure services are delivered in a manner consistent with trauma-informed care
Participates in hiring, supporting, training, and terminating staff
Model leadership, self-accountability, and professionalism within their home(s) to support a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for individuals we serve, employees, and visitors
Trains, supervises, and evaluates all staff in accordance with organization/program policy and procedures to ensure high quality of care to individuals served
Responsible for ensuring clear instructions are established for each shift and each shift change meeting
Complete unannounced visits to assigned homes for each shift (including weekends) at least monthly
Monitor compliance of applicable standards to include, but not limited to; state licensing OARs, CCS policies, Program Procedures, and the Individual Support Plan (ISP) for person’s receiving services
Responsible for the scheduling of DSP staff to meet the care/ratio needs; maximize staffing resources and minimize the use of overtime and external temporary staffing hours
Reconcile customer funds at a minimum of one time per month
Responsible for managing individual’s funds including banking, bill pay, and benefit limits in accordance with the individual’s ISP
Function as a supportive and helpful liaison with family members and ISP team members
Support the coordination of Day Support Activities (DSA) for persons served in partnership with the associated DSA staff members
Ensure all Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) are provided in accordance with the ISP for the people served
Model relationships with people served in a nurturing, consistent, warm, caring, adult-appropriate and trauma-informed manner
Responsible to support the broader program vision of standardized, quality service and supporting all homes to be in compliance with applicable standards of quality services
Manage more than one home due to Program Manager vacancies, as applicable and assigned by the Program Director
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Residential Director or designee
Ensure customer medication administration is conducted according to program policy
Ensure documentation regarding the progress of each consumer is conducted using approved data collection methods
Ensure assigned home/program maintains a clean and healthy living environment including the reporting and coordinating of maintenance needs
Ensure meal planning and meal preparation in conducted in accordance with dietician orders
Ensure shopping and purchasing activities are completed in a timely manner and according to consumer needs and preferences
Ensure planning and execution of regularly scheduled recreational, entertainment, and leisure activities is conducted for people receiving services

Required

Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field OR an associate degree in behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field and two years of human services related experience OR high school diploma/GED and four years of human services related experience
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license with a driving record that permits coverage under the agency's corporate auto liability policy, be able to drive company vans to transport customers, and personal automobile liability insurance coverage
Have or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment
Be able to lift up to 65 pounds for a total of up to 130 pounds in a two-person lift
