Responsibilities

Lead and oversee program controls functions across SFO’s capital improvement program, including cost management, scheduling, change control, risk management, and reporting
Establish and maintain program-level standards, procedures, and controls to ensure consistency, transparency, and compliance across all projects
Manage and integrate project information from multiple systems and sources to provide accurate, timely insights to executive stakeholders
Develop and deliver executive-level dashboards, reports, and briefings that support strategic planning and decision-making
Partner with project managers and delivery teams to monitor performance against budgets, schedules, and key milestones
Identify trends, risks, and variances; recommend corrective actions and process improvements
Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to program controls and support staff
Serve as a trusted advisor to airport leadership on program performance, controls strategy, and best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
10+ years of experience in program controls, project controls, or capital program management
Demonstrated experience supporting large, multi-project capital programs (aviation experience strongly preferred)
Strong knowledge of capital project lifecycles and project delivery methods
Advanced analytical, organizational, and reporting capabilities
Ability to work full-time on site at San Francisco International Airport

Preferred

Experience working directly with airport authorities or public-sector owners
Familiarity with capital program management systems and reporting platforms
Professional certifications such as PMP, CCP, or similar
Experience leading or scaling program controls teams on major infrastructure programs
