The US Army Corps of Engineers is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of civil works projects. They are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Tri-Lakes Operations Project Manager, overseeing the management of multi-use flood control reservoirs and ensuring effective operations and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
Supervising the Saylorville Lake, Lake Red Rock, and Coralville Lake Projects, providing direction and guidance to approximately 62 personnel
Ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent operations and maintenance activities
Developing and executing multimillion-dollar budgets for the Lakes’ Flood Risk Management, Recreation, Environmental Stewardship, and Water Supply missions
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
A bachelor's degree in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position
A bachelor's degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service to include: 1) overseeing multipurpose reservoir projects; 2) coordination and collaboration with support offices; 3) advising senior leaders on the status of Flood Risk Management, Recreation, Environmental Stewardship and Water Supply projects; 4) managing safety, energy, asset management, and environmental programs; and 5) supervising a variety of administrative, natural resource management, and maintenance personnel
