Responsibilities

Analyze production schedules and forecasts to determine material needs; develop strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize excess stock
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely acquisition and delivery of materials; resolve material-related issues with suppliers and internal teams
Utilize ERP systems to track inventory, manage orders, and prepare regular reports on material planning metrics and trends for management review
Monitor inventory turnover and participate in initiatives to enhance material planning processes and overall supply chain efficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field OR Associate's degree with minimum 2 years OR High School Diploma with minimum 4 years in material planning or inventory management within a manufacturing or supply chain environment
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with material planning software; project management knowledge is a plus
Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret data, manage multiple priorities, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork and effective reporting
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
