Responsibilities

Review loan files in depth before funding to ensure file completeness, perfected collateral, and full structural alignment with the credit memo
Perform detailed analyses of purchase-and-sale or asset-sale agreements to confirm free-and-clear asset transfers
Review practice location leases and required insurance policies
Audit draft and final legal loan documents
Work closely with closing officers, underwriters, and other internal partners to drive maximum efficiency and optimize customer experience
Provide general operational oversight of deals in your pipeline
Coordinate loans to address customer needs and interests
Manage expected service levels and productivity requirements related to decision and condition clearing
Update information on systems to review conditions, and add, delete, satisfy, or waive as appropriate

Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience
In-depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio underwriting guidelines
High degree of attention to detail
Ability to make high-quality decisions and execute in a timely manner
Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing residential real estate lending
Demonstrated organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to keep the customer at the center and deliver excellent customer service
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Preferred

Knowledge of processing underwriting and closing procedures
Experience with mortgage origination systems, platforms, tools, and technology
